fruit & vegetable prices change considerably according to the season and availability
& are much cheaper than in the UK. You will notice also that the produce looks
slightly different to that in the UK. as it generally has been locally grown.
Tomatoes for example are not all exactly round, the same colour & size. The real
difference is the taste. Fruit & vegetables here taste as they should with strong
flavour. Cucumbers are not EEC straightened. | |
